    Crop Damage Policy

    Policy Statement:

    As a result of local road improvements, the County of Forty Mile will provide compensation to landowners directly affected by these operations.

     

    Guidelines:

    The crop damage settlement shall take into consideration:

    • An average yield per acre
    • An average market value per bushel at the time of settlement
    • If the landowner does not agree with the decision regarding the value of the crop they may appeal the decision to County Council

  • CROP DAMAGE:

  • Total Crop Damage bushels x $ =     

  • Native Grassland/Reseeded $300.00 per acre acres =      

  • The County of Forty Mile No. 8 hereby agrees to pay $ as compensation for crop damage.
